About Me

Hello! You can call me R.A.C. or Alexandra.

Hey, I’m The Unfiltered Traveller! My nickname is Alexandra, or R.A.C. I live somewhere in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I made this blog to give readers my insight on vacation destinations and popular tourist attractions.

Everyone likes to travel, and also go on vacation, including myself. So anywhere I visit, whether it’s local or abroad, I want to share my experiences with readers, to help plan their next trip.

I don’t like calling myself a world traveller or a nomad.

I love taking vacations! Then again, who doesn’t?

I won’t ever be like Bald & Bankrupt or Lexi Alford. I think they’ve accomplished travelling feats that not many will ever get to do in their lifetime.

For me, I’m cool with taking a vacation every year or so, and seeing cool and new places, whether it’s a popular tourist trap or a “hidden gem”.

I also like to talk about food, from its taste to new restaurants I visited. I want to share that experience with my readers, so that next time they explore, they can enjoy the same tastes too!

Aside from vacationing, I’m a bit of a penny pincher.

Aw man…I miss Jollibee’s in the Philippines. Cheapest prices around.

Where I live, the cost of living has been going up, leaving a lot of people with higher grocery bills than ever. This means that more people find it challenging to feed their families (as well as themselves) with a limited budget.

With this blog, I want to help families and people out there looking to shave some savings off their next grocery bill, whether it’s through simple money saving tips or money-saving recipes using affordable ingredients.

No matter where you are, my goal is to help you save some money with these mundane, simple tips.

So let’s travel, eat, and save some money friends!

P.S. Outside of blogging, I enjoy playing cooking, hanging out with family/friends, and being a rookie graphic designer.

P.S.S. The blog name was inspired by an episode of Community, where Britta Perry tells Pierce Hawthorne that she correctly predicted that corporations would take human form in her high school newspaper column “Britta Unfiltered”. There’s also a sentimental, deeper aspect to it, but this is largely the significance behind my blog name.
